About this role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with leadership experience to join our Research & Development team and drive our research initiatives. This is a leadership role where you will shape strategy, mentor teams, and drive meaningful outcomes across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review SOPs, protocols, and technical reports
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, ICH-GCP, and applicable regulatory frameworks
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and responses to agency queries
• Support quality assurance activities including audits, CAPA, and deviation investigations
• Maintain laboratory equipment calibration and qualification records
• Lead and manage multi-site study teams or laboratory operations
• Present data and strategies to senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Represent the company at scientific conferences and KOL meetings
• Author and review key regulatory documents (INDs, CTAs, MAAs)
• Apply expertise in Stability, Patent Writing to deliver high-quality work products

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in laboratory research, pharmaceutical development, clinical research, or a related life-science role, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or a related life-science field; advanced degree strongly preferred
• Expert-level proficiency in Drug Delivery, Nanoparticles, Stability, Scale-up
• Demonstrated experience leading teams, mentoring professionals, or managing complex projects
• Strong strategic thinking and executive communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Right to work in the UK

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD)
• Prior experience with FDA, EMA, or MHRA regulatory submissions
• Six Sigma or Lean certification
• Arabic or French language skills (for potential MENA operations)
