About this role
We are looking for a seasoned professional with leadership experience to join our Research & Development team and drive our research initiatives. This is a leadership role where you will shape strategy, mentor teams, and drive meaningful outcomes across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review SOPs, protocols, and technical reports
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, ICH-GCP, and applicable regulatory frameworks
- Contribute to regulatory submissions and responses to agency queries
- Support quality assurance activities including audits, CAPA, and deviation investigations
- Maintain laboratory equipment calibration and qualification records
- Lead and manage multi-site study teams or laboratory operations
- Present data and strategies to senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Represent the company at scientific conferences and KOL meetings
- Author and review key regulatory documents (INDs, CTAs, MAAs)
- Apply expertise in Stability, Patent Writing to deliver high-quality work products
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in laboratory research, pharmaceutical development, clinical research, or a related life-science role, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or a related life-science field; advanced degree strongly preferred
- Expert-level proficiency in Drug Delivery, Nanoparticles, Stability, Scale-up
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, mentoring professionals, or managing complex projects
- Strong strategic thinking and executive communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Right to work in the UK
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PK/PD)
- Prior experience with FDA, EMA, or MHRA regulatory submissions
- Six Sigma or Lean certification
- Arabic or French language skills (for potential MENA operations)
